Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir is a Hindi television soap opera that premiered August 26, 2013, airing Monday to Friday on Star Plus. It is a second season of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? with a new plot and a new cast.[1] The previous soap opera left the air on November 30, 2012.[2][3]

The story revolves around two individuals Aastha and Shlok who have a completely different nature. Aastha is a free-minded girl who can do anything for the people who are right and handles all relations . Shlok on the other hand believes in wealth more than relations. He has a miserable past which makes him hate girls and his mother.
Plot[edit][]
Shlok is having a morning run and is thinking about a girl laughing which makes him angry. Aastha takes her old -age home friends to a event. When she reaches there she is shocked to the the sign housfull. But since it was her friend's birthday she lied that she was a relative of a wealthy person. Shlok had reserved the tickets for some one else which aastha occupied. At the end of the show , Shlok says that he hates lies. Aastha realizes her mistake and goes to him to ask forgiveness. Shlok grabs her hand and takes her away. He taunts her and tells her that because of her mistake he is in loss of crores. Aastha says sorry again and again but Shlok comes closer to her and breaks her bangles injuring her hand. Aastha calls him a demon.
The next day Shlok's assistant tells him that he has to reach home for the pooja before 12. In this time Shloks car does'nt works which results in travelling by train. In the same train Aastha is travelling. Aastha is shocked to see him but tries to stay away from him. Shlok's wallet is lost in which his ticket was there which makes him get out of the train. Shlok's wallet and returns it to him. Shlok thinks that Aastha has done it purposely and swares revenge. Aastha returns home and finds out that her father is gone out due to work. Aastha gets angry. Aastha's father goes to Anjali niwas which is Shlok's house. Avdood forgets some files at home and call up Aastha and tells her to get it. Shlok comes back home by taxi and enters his room. He thinks about an incident 3 years back. He left home due to his mother and returned only on special occasions. Aastha and Shlok come face to face and Aastha gets shocked. Astha calls her friend but there is no range in the house so she reaches Shlok's room. Shlok shouts at her for entering his room. He comes close to her and opens the door for her. Aastha leaves.
Niranjan asks Avdood for Aastha's hand for Shlok but Aastha denies. The next day Aastha and Shlok meet on the road and get angry at each other. Aastha is informed by her friend Gauri that Shlok has suspended a girl from the college ,Anjali. Aastha angry at this reaches Shlok's head office and sits in his car telling him that she will not leave unti he listens to her. Shlok gets angry and drives away leaving her in an isolated place. The day during shlok's award function, aastha embarrasses him infront of the people and the next day Aastha finds out that there is violence going on the the head office. She once reaches there to stop but the people start attacking her but Shlok saves her. He blames her for this. Aastha gets the news that Shlok is going to capture theVriddaashram and goes there to stop him. Aastha is selected for a job interview. Shlok takes Aastha's interview and she is confident that she will never get this job. But to her surprise she comes to know that she is the one in thousands to get this job. Aastha joins the event company and is shocked to see her first project with the Agnihotri's silver jubilee fuction. She comes to Shlok's cabin and Shlok explains her everything about the work.

Jaskiran Kapoor of the Indian Express has stated that Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?... Ek Baar Phir is "riding high on the success of Season One," but also panned the acting of Avinash Sachdev (Shlok Agnihotri), comparing his "grouchy look to having tummy problems".[4]
